Learning Japanese in Virtual Reality

About this study

This study explores how virtual reality can affect the learning of Japanese verbs.

We are looking for participants that do not speak Japanese and have access to a PC/laptop VR headset. Your computer should have SteamVR installed.

Please read carefully before you decide to take part; this will tell you why the research is being done and what you will be asked to do if you take part. You are free to withdraw at any time and without giving a reason.

The study has the following steps:

You will need 35 minutes of uninterupted time to take part.

Participants are compensated £11 (around $14/€12) via PayPal or Amazon voucher. As of 01:17AM GMT, January 4th, this study has reached the maximum number of participants it can pay. However, visitors are very welcome to still do the study without payment.
